ImmoScout24 Innovation Camp 2017 at the Empire Riverside Hotel – Hamburg

We are delighted to have been part of this year’s Innovation Camp organised by ImmoScout24.

Under the motto ‘Technologies that add value. Interaction that captivates customers. Trends that promise success’ the future of the real estate industry was quite literally presented before our very eyes by inspiring speakers such as Christoph Ostler, managing director of the communication agency COACHCOM, and Dominic Eskofier, head of virtual reality for the EMEAI region at NVIDIA.

The use of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) in the form of apps and VR headsets raises the question of whether our customers will be viewing their potential new home from the comfort of their own sofa in the foreseeable future. Will they then immediately be able to fit it out with their own furniture and redesign the walls and flooring?

More tangible matters, however, such as the latest product developments from Immoscout24 and FlowFact, were also presented by Dr Thomas Schröter, managing director of ImmoScout24, and his FlowFact colleague. Following various surveys of estate agents and customers, a prototype of the ImmoScout24 portal was developed and extensively tested in a Berlin test laboratory. Some of the new features will go online on 1 November to showcase the optimised and even more user-friendly design of our property presentation concept.
